JASON METZ
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jason believes the two more important aspects of a church are a Biblical foundation and community. Before coming to Bridge in 2016, Jason and his wife Amy were missionaries to Native American and founded Breaking Camp Corporation, a non-profit organization focused on supporting Native Americans. Because of his prior ministry experience, Jason is able to bring a unique perspective to ministry having a heartfelt passion for preaching, a commitment to vibrant worship and a vision for the church to be a true connecting point in the Helena community.
With a focus on creating a welcoming and genuine environment, Pastor Jason seeks to provide an opportunity for everyone to discover, cultivate and apply an active faith in Jesus Christ. Seeking and living out Biblical truth is a priority and is reflected in Jason’s preaching style as well as the importance he places on discipleship.
“Living a life in Jesus is the greatest adventure any of us can have.”
“I love being a part of a church where the culture is intent on creating a space where everyone feels loved, supported, encouraged and empowered to grow in their faith.”
“It’s exciting to see what God is doing in our people. My favorite part of ministry is walking with individuals as they grow deeper in their faith.”
Jason and Amy have been married since 1994 and are blessed with three children: Kolton, Levi, and Zhanna. The Metz family loves the beauty of Montana and enjoys spending time together in the great outdoors, hiking, camping, and kayaking. But most of the time, you will find Jason on the river fly fishing whenever he gets a chance. As a family, they have a heart for meeting new people, hospitality and believe in living life to the fullest by making a difference for the Kingdom.
Jason and Amy are excited to be part of the Bridge family and to work together to build a vibrant and faith-filled community.
