This path requires real commitment.
Two to five days per month is a real ask. Bridge 938 will invest everything into you. Come ready to match that investment.
Attend Bridge Helena Sunday services regularly. Church is part of the program.
Serve in the church. Leadership is practiced, not just studied.
Maintain a daily prayer life and journal. Personal discipline is what makes leadership sustainable.
Show up to all classes and sessions. Your group is counting on you for the full curriculum.
Communicate openly with your leaders. If something is hard, say so. That is what growth looks like.
Plan ahead for travel if you are out of town. Host families are available. Let Bridge 938 know early.
Two to five days per month is more than Path 1 or 2. The Practical Ministry Sessions add intensive in-person time that is not just class time. It is formation time. This is intentional.
If you do not live in Helena, Bridge 938 will work with you to arrange a host family for the days you are here. The relationships built during that time are part of what makes this path what it is.
If the time commitment feels too heavy right now, Path 2 – Leadership Training lets you take individual classes at a lighter pace and build toward this.
Straight answers.
What is the difference between Path 2 and Path 3?
Path 2 lets you pick individual Paul to Timothy classes. Path 3 takes you through all nine plus the nine Practical Ministry Sessions. Path 3 results in a certificate and seminary credit hours. Path 2 does not.
Do I have to complete Foundations first?
Not required, but it is the natural starting point. If you already have a solid personal faith foundation and are active in your church, you can enter at Path 3. Talk to a Bridge 938 leader if you are unsure.
What does the certificate qualify me for?
The certificate in practical ministry studies is a Bridge 938 credential. It also qualifies you for six free credit hours toward a Master of Leadership and Ministry degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
How long does Path 3 take to complete?
Length depends on your pace through the nine classes and nine sessions. Contact Bridge 938 for current cohort schedules and estimated completion timelines.
What if I live outside Helena?
Bridge 938 will work with you to provide a host family for the days you need to be in Helena. Plan ahead and reach out before you apply so logistics can be arranged.
Can Path 3 lead into Path 4?
Yes. The Paul to Timothy Institute forms the core of Path 4 – Vocational Ministry. If you complete Path 3 and feel called to go further, Path 4 builds directly on what you have already completed.
